Ainsley Kraft

About Me
My name is Ainsley Kraft. I’m from Bettendorf, Iowa, but I spent three formative years living in Singapore. This sparked my love for architecture, travel and exploring new places. Growing up in very different environments shaped how I notice space, culture, and the way people move through their everyday lives. I’m a second-year student in Auburn University’s dual-degree program within the School of Architecture, pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture. I’m drawn to design because I care about how spaces feel to the people using them, especially the small details that make places comfortable, memorable, and human. Outside of studio, I can usually be found in the middle of a good book. I enjoy time with family and friends and if that takes me to a new city, I always love observing how people interact with their surroundings. I enjoy hands-on work, collaborating with others, and learning through experience. This site is a snapshot of my journey so far and reflects my interests, experiences, and growth as a designer.
